A BUSHFELLER KILLED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Pahiatua, Yesterday. Alexander Durrand, aged 30, a single man, was killed whilo bushfelling at Kcrkalm's camp, Pongaroa district, on Saturday. Deceased said he, was an exnavy man, belonging to the north of Scotland. He had only boon on the'job three days. The body was brought to Pongaroa for an inquest. A SAD ACCIDENT. Auckland, Yesterday. Alexander J. Mitehcllson, eldest son of Ifon. J2. Mitehcllson, died in the hospital to-day from injuries to his head, sustained by falling down some stairs about a week ago. He leaves a widow and a young family.
