HIGH SCHOOL BOARD ELECTION. To the Editor. S' 1 ') lam very pleased to see thatthere are two candidates representing the north and south end of tiie county standing for the High School governorship. Seeing that more'than half the pupils in both departments of the school are from the country, it is very desirable that the country should lie represented on tiie Board. To be exact, half the pupils in the boys' department and two-thirds of tiie girls' school are Irom outside New Plymouth. If the town candidates really have the good of the institution at heart they "should withdraw from the election, as the town h represented by seven members of the Board, with probably the addition of a member representing the Education board.—l am, etc..
