THE VATICAN'S QUEST. KNOWLEDGE OP RELATION'S •SOUGHT. London, July 22. Rome reports that the Pope has entrusted Cardinal Gibbons with the task of discovering the real political and diplomatic relations between Germany and America, in order to decide the attitude the Vatican should take up.
