Mr. Muller, postmaster at Rakaia, lias been appointed to siicced Mr. W. V. Kennedy as postmaster at Patea. Miss M. C. Terry, daughter of 11 r. and Mrs. J. Tcny, „f New Plymouth, lias sained the degree of liaelielor of science. Mr. Christopher, of the firm of Messrs. Robinson and Christopher, Stratford and llawora. has accepted the 'position <>i' engineer to llolson County. Corporal Ross Wackman. a prominent ; ;<>mber of the C.10.M.5., left for Treniiiaiu yesterday morning. During the time he has been in New Plymouth lis has been of much assistance 'to the St. Mary's 13oy Scouts. At Patea on Tuesday, the employees at the West Coast Refrigerating Company's works made a presentation to Air. 1). is. Willia-ms, who is leaving to take up work with the Farmers' Cooperative Society at Hawcra.
