NORTH TARANAKI HUNT.

OPENING MEET AT WAITARA. The opening meet of the North Taranaki Hunt Club was held at Mr. L. Birdling's, Wiiitara, yesterday afternoon. The muster was good, and included Messrs A. TI. Halcoinb (master) on Larukaii, B. 11. Chaincy (deputy master) on Warea, L. C. Jennings (deputy master) on Laddie, E. Mason (deputy master) on Kiri, W. Cole on The Limit, 10. Peppercl (whip) on The Czar, N. Peppcrel (lmntsman) on Buster's Button, J. Cole on tlriti, W. Ilookham on Otaroa, Alius Yiekers, Miss Taylor, Messrs E. Hook, ('. Nelson, and numerous other gentlemen. There were not many runs, but one proved verv brisk. Pussy, breaking from the beach,' led the field over two miles of solid country, and the ran was thoroughly enjoyed'by those following.
