THE DEADLY OUM-DUM. IX GENERAL USR BY AUSTRIA, ENEMY'S IIKAVY LOSSES. Petrograd, April 21. Official: The Russians discovered at Kustaneks a secret order of the Frzcmysl garrison, on February 8, to return .all diim-dums to tiie depots. This was the outcome of General Selivanoff's warning on tile previous day that he would shoot all Austrians found with dumdums. The report adds that the enemy on the Nida-Pi!ica front, on April 18. used dum-dimis exclusively.

A communique states that the Austrians .made a particularly stubborn attack at Rolen height, near Rostock, and suffered very heavy losses. Five buri dred were taken 'prisoners.
