PURCHASE OF STEAMERS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Ihincdin, Last Night. The steamers Canada Cape and Wyandotte, which have been under charter to the Union Company for some time and. running in the cargo trade between Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Coast ports of Canada and the United States, have been purchased by that company. Both are fitted with refrigerating machinery, and have insulated space for some (100 tons. The Canada Cape will be re-namcd the Waihemo 'and the Wyandotte will be re-named the Waimarino.
