ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
MOTOR-CYCLIST KILLED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Hastings, April 18. G. McKcasick, law clerk, aged 19, succumbed last night to the injuries suntained through his motor-cycle colliding with a cart while he was turning the corner from Ileretaunga Street into Station Street. McKecsick was thrown heavily and fractured his skull. FOUND DROWNED. Wanganni, Last Nigtft. The body of a man, so far unidentified, was found floating in the river this afternoon. The body is that of a man of thirty-five years of age; sft. Tin. tall aiul of medium build; dark hair, slightly bald; wearing dark clothes. KILLED ON THE RAILWAY. Wellington, Last Night. The police received word to-night that after the departure of the 7.15 train from Paekakariki for Palmerston NarSh the body of a man was found on the line. No details of the man's identity, or how the accident occurred, have been rMelred. The police have gone out to Paekakariki to investigate.
