The Rugby League -has approved of the principle of making provision for t'ie wives and dependants- of players killed in action. Melbourne, April IW. The House passed a special War Supply Bill for £3,130,000. The estimate of war expenditure to the end of June wuh 10J millions. This had already gone and the estimate would be exceeded 10 the extent of 3J millions. A motion against increasing the salaries of civil servants receiving over €30(1 during the war was negatived. Mr, Fisher said the Government had decided that a percentage reduction was inadvisable, as its stoppage 011 salaries of over £3OO would save only £0245. DRUIDS' PATRIOTIC FUND.
