EMPIRE PICTURES. Lubin's star drama, •'His First Cas.r" is featured on to-night's new bill. It is a romance of the Ci-sloms service, and holds the attention of the spectator throughout. "The Two Dars" in their vaudeville turn display their skill a:id strength in a remarkable manner and give many original performances. Each acrobat is a splendid athletic type, add the ease and grace, of their work is most striking. "Totty's Debut," a Keystone comedy, is-also on the new programme. "The Woes of a Waitress," and "The Light on the Wall," are two dramas, "Ma-Lady Doctor," Pathe comedy, and "The Latest War Budge;.." Seats mav be reserved.

"CHARLEY'S AUNT." It is a recognised fact that the greatest mirth-provoking play of modern times is "Charley's Aunt." It is exactly twenty-two "years since Vv. S. Penly, in the title role, sent all London into convulsions of laughter, and every year since then has seen a London revival, usually on each anniversary, which, f.ir this year, was last month; this year's production being at the Prince of Wales' Theatre. The enormous success whi"!i attends each revival proves that "Charley's Aunt" is more popular than ever, in fact, it is said that she will never di", and if the receptions the ''Charley's Aunt" Company, which is to produce this comedy at the Theatre Royal to-morruw evening have had on their tour North, is any criterion, it is indeed a fact, for "Charley's Aunt" has proved as popular to-day with the New Zealand theatregoers as when it was first seen in the country. The company will also prodive our old friend "The Private Secretary,'' another scream, as popular with many people as "Charley's Aunt."

New Plymouth playgoers will no doubt hi! pleased at the opportunity afforded them of once more witnessing the tivo old favourites.

The box plan is at Collier's, and is filling rapidly. "Charley's Aunt" will lie played at Inglewood to-night (Tlm-.i-day).
