MR. FISHER'S VIEWS. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Melbourne, March IS. Mr. Fisher states that he is considerably impressed with the value of an Australasian conference such as he recently discussed with Mr. Massey. Other questions were statistics, defence, cable rates, currency, and reciprocity in the interchange of goods. Mr. Fisher said he had not suggested a date for the first conference, but it might be worth considering whether it could not he worked with the Premiers' Conference, which was being held in May.
