John S.ilo, an e'derly Russian Finn, employed as night watchman at a timber yard, pleaded not guilty to discharging a revolver at a drover named Thomas lilinkhorn. The evidence tkowed that Plinkhoni and three other (Hovers, who wer,. under the inlluei'.ce of drink, visited the Umber yard and had an altercation with t'.ie nightwatchman. who fired a (revolver, allegly to frighten them away.
