Compared with closing rates of the December series, good greasy combing was 10 per cent, to 121 per centhigher; medium ]•"> per cut... inferior 20 per cent., scoured combing 71- per cent., short faulty 5 per cent. Creasy fine crossbreds we..; from par to 5 per cent, h'j.hei medium avd eoa'Ye *0 per c-iii. lo lo per cent. For fine scoured and slipes there was no change. Medium and coarse slipes Were 5 per cent, higher. We quote fils tops costing 2li}d, 27d.

NEW PLYMOUTH WOOL, SKIN, AND HIDE SALE, RECORD PRICES. At Messrs. L. A. Xolap and Co.'s monthly sale, of wool, hides and skins yesterday there was a gond attendance of buyers representing Home, Colonial and local firms. Competition' was particularly keen, sheepskins, hides and wool realising record prices.
