WELLIXGTOX RELIEF FUNDS. By Telegraph.—Per Press Association Wellington, Last. Xiglit, The ltuntly Disaster Relief Fund raised by the Mayor of Wellington luis ■been closed with a credit balance i,f £335 13s 4(1, which has been handed to the Public Trustee.
The Mayor's appeal in aid of sufferers by the Upper ITutt explosion resulted in £l4!),i 14s 3d being raised, of whiclh f3l!) 4s (Id lias been paid in necessitous cases. A balance of £ll7O fls fld will be expended in annuities to four families for ». 'period of five years.
