£20,000,000 FOR WAR PURPOSES. Ottawa, February 4. The Duke of Connaught opened Parliament. He pointed out that the war was progressing favourably. Canada's fiancial position was vound. Mr Borden asked Parliament for twenty millions sterling for war expenditure.
