A PRO-GERMAN SPEAKER. TALKS OF CANADIAN "SLAVES" TO BRITAIN. Ottawa, January 15. Mr Bourassa blamed the Dreadnought trust and the British yellow press for the present war. Canadians were really in the position of the American slaves, except that the jiegroes were led by their masters, It was folly to talk of suppressing German militarism until British militarism was also destroyed. Canada ought to keep clear of wars not her own. The German yoke was no heavier than the English. The whole press in Canada denounces Bourassa as a treasonmonger, suggesting that he has been bought by German money.
