THREATENING COUNT VON BERNSTORFF. MAN SENTENCED AT.SEATTLE. Received 17, o p.m. New York, January 10. Edwin Scott was sentenced to six months' imprisonment at Seattle on a charge of threatening the. life of Count Von Bernstorff. Scott admitted writing letters addressed to Von Bernstorff, and pleaded that lie was merely binding. Mr. Bryan directed that the proceedings be taken. It is understood that many threatening letters have been received by . the German Embassy. A FORBIDDEN WIRELESS PLANT. IN PANAMA CANAL. Washington, January 15. A high-power wireless station lias been discovered concealed at Panama through the investigations of British agents. Other stations, situated somewhere, in the Gulf of Darien, are reported to be in existence, and Sir. C. Spring Rice has asked for their dismantlement.
