An official report states then: is nothing doing in the Carpathians, where increasing frost is impeding operations. ENEMY EXPELLED FROM SiERPIC. Received 17, 5 p.m. Pelrograd, January Hi. An official report states that the enemy was expelled from Sierpic, and occupied 'the fords at Skrawa, forty miles east of Tlioni. They were unable to maintain the position, and have fallen hack northwards under our pressure. There is nothing eventful elsewhere.
