ANTI-ALIEN LAWS.

The District Court at San Francisco held the Arizona anti.aUe.ii law, prescribing a certain number of American employees for every business, illegal. The British Italians, and Japanese Ambassadors protested strongly against the law, which was thereupon referred to the courts. President Wilson is considering legislation with the object of preventing individual states passing anti-alien laws.
