VISITING WANOANUI By Telegraph—Per Press Association. | Wanganui, Yesterday. The Federal Premier, accompanied by the Hon. James Boyd, arrived at Wanga„ui at mid-day from Auckland, via Tauniarunui and the river. He had a delightful trip down. The visitors spoke in glowing terms of the river scenery, which they regard as a valuable national asset from the tourist point of view. The visitors were met at Aramoho by the Mayor and representative citizens. Short addresses of welcome were given by the Mayor and the member for the district. The visitors made suitable replies. Mr Fisher remarked that the country more than came up to his expectations. The people seemed contented and well provided for.
