HIGH SCHOOL GYMNASTICS.

The High School gymnastic competitions were held in the school gymnasium last night, and were largely attended ' old boys and the outside public. Soi>. - of the feats met with great applause, particularly those of the competitors for the senior championship. Considering that the bovs have for some time been without a gymnastic instructor, the standard of work shown reflected the greatest, credit on them. Mr J. Howell very capably officiated as judge, and Mr Ballmm superintended all the arrangements. The following are the results of the various competitions:— Championship, under 10 years.—Kebhell, 37 points; runner-up, Williams, ii., 35 points. Other competitors: Moves 33, Blunilell 32. Championship, under 12 years.—Jackson, ii., 72 points; runner-up, Teed, 00. Championship, under 14 Years.—Ogle, 109 points; runner-up,, Wilson, 107 points. Others: Pott, ii., 95, Hunter 84, Hamblin 53. Junior Ohampior-slhip.—Hamerton, 121 points; runner-up Callander, 110 points. Other competitors: Hastic 108, Wvborn 10b', Drake 100, Brown 91, Fox 81, Phipps 69. Senior Championship.—Jenkinsoii, 128 points; runner-up, Stoddart, 12G points. Other competitors. Sykcs 115, Meuli 100.
