I TROUBLESOME CADETS. By Telegraph.—Per Press Association. Pahiatua, November '25. Two senior cadets were charged to-day ■with obstructing a parade by laughing, jostling, and talking. The commanding officer said the defendants had been warned several times. ITo was very reluctant to bring (lie charges. The Magistrate said it was a great pity that cases of this kind were not dealt with by military law instead of by civil proceedings. He instanced what was done in the old volunteer days with offenders. The ollicer replied that they hail no power. Defendants made allegations against the officer, which the latter strongly denied. A fine was imposed in each case.
