CHAMPIONSHIP AWARDS. Duncdin, November 25. The tliirty-ciglith metropolitan, summer show of the Otago A and P. Society was opened to-day in fine weather. The entries totalled 1)27 as against 880 last year, the increase being princapally in the sheep Classen, the show of which was one of the best yet shown here. The following championships were awarded:— DraughO breeding mare, Thomson and Co's Baron's Brilliant. Cattle: Ayrshire bull, A W. Rodgcrs; .cow, Cowan Bros.; Shorthorn bull, Arthur Chamberlain; cow, Arthur Chamberlain; Holstein-Freisian bull, A. S. Elsworthy; cow, A. S. Elsworthy; 'Polled Angus bull, John Douglas's trustees; cow, Roberts and Co.; Channel Islands bull and cow, F. E. Hellyer. Sheep:— Fine combing Merino ram, Watson and Shennan; ewe, John Douglts's trustees; Btrong combing merino ram, Watson .Shennan; ewe, John IVntfas's trustees; Border Leicester, ram, T. S. Little; ewe, John Douglas's trustees; Romney-Marsh ram, T. L. Barnhill's trustees, ewe, W. G. Ladbrook; Shropshire Down ram and ewe, W. Gardiner; Corricdale ewe, NX and Australian Land Co.
