SUPREME COURT.
CLAIM FOR DAMAGES. Wellington, November 25. In the Supreme Court, Dr Platts Mills sued the City Council for £307 damages for injuries to lierself uiul motor as the result of a collision with a tramway pole in Customhouse Quay early in the morning. The grounds of the claim were that the spot was insufficiently lighted. The jury found for the .plaintiff, assessing the damage at £2Ol.
