AN INCIDENT CLOSED. COLUMBIA DENIES BREACH OF NEUTRALITY. Received 20, 11.20 p.m. Washington, November 19. Tt is officially announced that the incident in Columbia connected with wireless and neutrality is ended. The State Department refuses to announce the nature of the settlement with Britain and France, but it is unofficially stated that Columbia informed Britain and I'ranee that no infractions of neutrality have occured or shall occur. THE TENNESSEE INCIDENT. NO EXPLANATION FROM TURKEY. Received 20, 11.20 p.m. New York, November 19. I resident Wilson has conferred with Mr J. Daniels, Secretary of the Navy, regarding the firing on the Tennessee. No reply having been received from Turkey, President Wilson has decided to ask Great Britain the courtesy of the use of its wireless with a view of obtaining a statement of the Turkish attitude. The President expresses the belief that the bring was merely of a customary nature.
