The court varied the waterside workers' award so as to provide that men unloading coal-laden vessels shall continue working after noon on Saturdays till ten at night if necessary, payment to be at the existing overtime rate and 50 per cent, extra up to 5 o'clock and 75 per cent, extra after 5 o'clock.
