STEAMER ON FIRE.
FURTHER DETAILS . By cable.—Press Association.—Copyright Melbourne, November 11. A portion of the Norfolk's crew have arrived. The remainder are standing by. The fire was discovered early on Sunday morning when some mile's off the land. It had a strong hold and efforts to suppress it were unavailing. It was decided to beach the vessel. She lies on a sandy bottom. She is half-gutted and the fire is still smouldering.
