Following the reduction on war premiums on hulls, Australian and New Zealand! ship owners have reduced freights. Copper statistics on July 31 showthat the supplies were 43,3i0 tons, deliveries 42,06!) tons, stocks 12,314 tons. . ifloat 3000 tons, visible si.p'ply 33,012 I tons. On August 31 supplies were J 20,023 tons, deliveries 25,429 tons, stocks J 23,108 tons, afloat 4000 tons, visible supply 34,806 tons. Official prices are:— Copper £59 10s to £6O 10s (August averages), electrolytic £62 2s fid. Tin.-—Statistics: Stock 16,423 tons, spot, 3530 tons, afloat 3460 tons, deliveries 1067 tons. Lead, £29 2s'fid. Spelter, £29.
