The Egmont A, and X'. Assoml> -n lias just received official intimation cf special interest to breeders of Clydesdales. The committee of the Clydesdale Horse Society, a-t a recent meeting, unanimously deckled to offer lor competition amongst Clydesdale "'mart's at the 'Egmont Agricultural and Pas-, torai Association's Show in November, their challenge cup presented by the Union (steamship Company. Tihis is a very -lino trophy, of the value of ">0 guineas, and the Association hopes to see entries and competition worthy of it.
