. WIRELESS PATENTS. Wellington, Last Night. A cablegram has been received from London by Mr. J. Gill, local representative of the Amalgamated Wireless (Australasia), Ltd., stating that the courts have decided in favor of the Marconi Company in its action against the Helaby Wireless Company for an infringement of a patent. Some time ago the Marconi Company took action against the Helsbv Co., the patent which was alleged to have been infringed being a tuning apparatus, known as the 7777 patent. INFANTILE PARALYSIS. Timaru, Last Night. The Gcraldino school has been closed for a fortnight, two fatal cases of spinal meningitis having occurred in the town, and two mild cases are under treatment. The deaths occurred within 48 ihours of the children being stricken.
