BURNED TO DEATH. By Telegraph—Press Association. Waipawa, July 27. Harry Ellery, a contractor, was burned to death in his wliare at 151s'thorpe on Saturday night last. KILLED BY A MOTOR COLLISION. Napier, Last Night. About six o'clock this morning, Maurice Hume Black, aged about 40 years, a carter and general farm hand, employed at the Old People's Home, was on his way into Napier, riding an ordinary push bicycle. On the Taradale road he collided violently with a motor-car driven by Mr. M. H. Strachan. Black was thrown heavily ito the ground, his face and head being badly crushed. Death was apparently instantaneous.
