DISTRESS AMONG REFUGEES. Times and Sydney Sun Services. Received' 28, 5.40 p.m. London, July 27. Edith Durham, author of the "Burden of the Balkans," writing from Valona, declares that ten thousand Albanians whose homes the Greeks burned are receiving relief at the rate of twopence daily , and are purchasing maize as food. Thousands more are encamped on the hills, subsisting on the remains of food and flocks saved during their flight.
