AUSTRALIAN VIEWS. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright Sydney, July 18. Mr. Holman is communicating with 'Mr. Cook respecting the merging of the Commonwealth building into Earl Grey's Dominion House scheme. Mr. Cook writes that he concurs in the view of New Zealand that discussion of the matter should be postponed until representatives of the self-govern-ing Dominions meet at the Imperial Conference next year. Mr. Cook previously wrote that Australia House would probably cost £750.000. He thought anything further in the direction of a Dominions' housing scheme should come first from the other Dominions.
WIRELESS IN CHINA.
- A TWO MILLIONS SCHEME. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright Peking, July 17. The Government has agreed with the Marconi Company to issue £2,000,000 Cliinese bonds in payment for the proposed wireless stations throughout China.
