Dunedin, June 23. Though diligent search has been maintained in the district no trace of the Rev. iMr. Woodhouse lias been found. The opinion is that in walking fromStirling to Bhlclutha he took tSic shorter route over the railway bridge and slipped and fell into the Molyneux River. SEQUEL TO SHARP-SHOOTING CASE. Hamilton, ,Juno 23. The sequel to the sharp-shooting accident at the Waikiato Winter Show was heard in the Police Court to-day, when William MciLiod, the crack-shot showman, was charged btfore Mr. Eawaon, S.M., with having shot,, under such circumstances, that had death been caused accused would have been guilty of manslaughter. The magistrate said he was doubtful whether any section of law covered ohe offence but thought the question was not one for him to decide and committed accused to the Supreme Court for trial. Bail was allowed in £SO.
