CHARGE OF MANSLAUGHTER. Dunodin, Monday. David Alfre-l Button appeared at the Police Court to day to answer a charge of manslaughter in connection with; tho death of Dajvid. Peter Donovan, who was killed as the result of a collision between two engines in the railway goods yards. The evidence was similar to that given at the inquest. Accused, who reserved fliia defence, was committed for trial, bail being allowed in self MX) and two siuneties of £IOO each.
