MR. WILFOHD AT NOJISEWOOD. By Telegraph—Press Association. Dannevirke, Juiiu 22. Mr. T. M. Wilford addressed a meeting at Norsewood on Sntunlay night and was accorded a vote of thanks. A ! resolution was carried, embodying an expression of continued confidence in the Liberal Party. Silt JOSEPH WARD AT STEWART ISLAND. Invencargill, June 21. Sir Joseph Ward visited Stewart Island on Saturday and addressed the largest meeting ever held there, referring chiefly to local affairs. His reception was enthusiastic, and a vote of thanks and confidence wa.s carried 1 'Unanimously. Sir Joseph Ward will speak at Temuka to-nigOiit, and will reach Wellington on Wednesday.
