Ponceau red, absinthe green, and canary yellow are being worn by some eccentric persons this summer, but the choice of the well-d.essed women lies amongst the pretty shades of classic or very dark violet and blue checks. Black and white is worn by the young women. The journal, Tailor and Cutter, rejoices because the Prince of Wales wore a frock coat at his first, public function, and prophesies that the garment will remain fashionable for many years, despite the clothiers wlio are in a hurry to become rich.
