It is anticipated that the suffragettes | will cease their violence, believing that the maximum effect will be obtained by a period of wild activity to be followed by a still period. They are now concentrating their attention on readjustment of the organisation and rehabilitating the hunger-strikers afid those whose nerves have broken down.
