TEACHERS' REUNION.
A PLEASANT FUNCTION. .. very enjoyaUie. function eventuated in tike 'Good Templar Hall last night, when the teacners who are attending the winter scihool held :i re-union. "Work while you woi'k, and play while you play," is apparently their motto, for at t'lie winter school during the past week they have been working long hours, and last liigbt threw themselves with zest into the task of enjoying themselves and of assis/ting cadi other to do likewise. A very pleasant and soeiaole evening resulted, and this will pUobably be made an annual affair. At very short notice 'be organisers (Messrs Pennington, Mill., Cutler, and Eggletmi, and Misses Parli, Dradcr and Sinclair) attendee to every detail, and nothing was lacking. The floor was in perfect order, the music by Mr Harnett wa's excellent, and the supper proved in keeiping. Mr Eggleton, as M.C., ke'pt the hall vigorously moving, and dancing interspersed with musical items kept nil ibnsy until long after midnight. The following contributed l ! o the musical programme, and all received . encores: Pianoforte nolo. Miss Winlleld; songs, Mi's's Black, Messrs A. Cray, Cutler. Mackie. Tejiinler; refill tioiis, Messrs Mills and TTnflewn; Sailors' Hornpipe. Mr ET.glet.on Mr Culler played the accompaniments. Extras were rendered bv Mrs Harrison. Messrs Pearson audi "Peni ningt'on.
