MR. MASSEY AT GISBORNE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Gisbornc, Wednesday. Mr. Massey arrived 'by the Warrimoo this evening, and addressed a huge meeting at His Majesty's Theatre. He was subjected to a considerable number of ;■ interjections, but on the whole the crowd was friendly, and Mr. Massey received a good hearing, a vote of confidence and thanks being declared carried. His address was mainly on the lines of recent speeches. Ml). RUSSELL AT ROTORUA. R'otorua, Thursday. Mr. ('!. W. Russell addressed a large audience last night, mainly on the lines of previous speeches. The meeting. which was most enthusiastic, carried a unanimous vote of thanks and confidence in the Liberal Party of which Sir .)o-:eph Ward is leader.
