HOCKEY.
THE "BULLY." An important alteration to Rule 9 governing the "bully" has been made by the International Hockey Board, and it will, therefore, 'be in operation this season. The last clauses, now read:— "In all cases of bullying, the two players who are bullying shall stand squarely facing the side lines. Every other player shall be nearer his own goal line tnan *the ball is (except in the case of a penalty bully) and shall not (except in the eaae of a bully in the circle) stand within three yards of the players participating in the bully." AH other rules remain unaltered.
