NEW PLYMOUTH FIRE BRIGADE.

ANNUAL MEETING. At the annual meeting of the New Plymouth Fire Brigade at the Cent.'al Station on Tuesday evening, Superintendent Bellringcr presided over a good attendance of members.

The annual report congratulated members on keenness, sound finances, few resignations, and freedom from fire's.

ELECTION OF OFI'iCERS.

The following officers were elected for tine ensuing year:—Deputy-iSupcrinten'.!-ent, A. Boon; Central Foreman, 11. Ford: West Foreman, J. Johnston, East Foreman, ,1. Clark; secretary, H. Ford; treasurer, Superintendent Jiellringei'; executive committee. W. Roch and W. Saddler; Auditors, F. Doughty and W. Way, Central custodian, j;'. Doughty; East custodian, U. Lambert. All were re-eleeted.

Superimtciylewt jßieMirjnger will, continue to hold ouiee as superintendent, but under the new conditions he ia not subject to annual election.

DECORATION. The decorations for the year were as follows: —lSu]xsrinten|ilent Bejlringer, 2 years' bar completing 29 years' service; Foreman Johnson, tiar completing 23 years' service; Fireman T. Partington, 1!) 'years; Firemaji 11. Inch, 17 years; Fireman S Roberts, 15 years; Fireman W. Sadler, 11 years; Fireman W. Roch and Fireman W. I'rvor. 0 years; and Custodian Doughty received the five years' service medal.

The annual dinner subsequently was held.
