TARANAKI ASSUUIATIUX. • At tlie Taranaki Hockey Association liiceiing, held at Straiioni, the following clubs tt'oru represented: Inglewood, Stratford, Kaponga, Manaia, Hawera Rivals and Hawera (locker Club Tim election of nliicers resulted ns follows:—President, Mr Hill. Stratford; vice-presidents, presidents of affiliated clubs; secretary and treasurer, Mr. L. Curtis, Stratford. The books showed a credit balance of fli 12s Id. Registration of colours was agreed to ;n follows: Inglewood. maroon, with white star; Stratford, red and black halves; Kaponga, yellow and black; Mnnaia, blue and black; Rivals, royal blue; Hawera club, Mack jersey, white '-foliar, white pants. With reference to
the colors for the B team, they may play in the A's colors against other teams; but must have some mark of distinction when playing against the A teams. It was decided that, as there are a large number of beginners this season, d was advisable to get copies of the rules printed.
Following a discussion about touring, the secretary was instructed to write to the New Zealand Hockey Association and see if the challenge lor the Nordon Cup still held good. Last year tue Taranaki Hockey Association forwarded a guinea with a challenge to the holders (Wanganui), but witihin, a week Waikato had defeated vvanganui and taken the shield, so all Taranaki could do was to wait for this season. As it is necessary to apply to the Association to run'a tourney (open), Kaponga's request for same was granted, this 1 tournament to take place on April 23.
