The following telegram has been sent by Mr. Jhinter, president of the brancli of the Social Democratic Party, to Sir Joseph Ward: "The action taken in Christelmrch by Liberal members of Parliumontto form a Liberal-Labor Federation is taken as a hostile act. The new federation will be treated as a scab organisation by organised labor."
