A RUSSIAN'S FEARS. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright Sydney, March 7. Eugene Zakovsky, a Russian artist, who is appearing at a music hall, ap plied to the police for protection from alleged shadowing by the Russian secret police. He fears assassination or kidnapping. He states that he was engaged in revolutionary propaganda in Russia, and escaped to America, where the secret police shadowed him. Two attempts were made on his life, and be fled to Australia. Recently he recognised a Russian spy, brother of a detective, whom the revolutionaries shot dead, dogging him.
