When Hawker was descending from a height of 7000 feet at Albury, the engine stopped a hundred feet from the ground, and the machine dived sharply. The machine was damaged, but Hawker was uninjured. FLIGHT AT CHRISTCHURCH. By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchureh, Last Night. Scotland made a successful ascent in his Caudron biplane from the Addington Show Grounds yesterday afternoon, in the presence of 4000 -people. The went up 1000 feet, and gave a title exhibition, landing safely.
