PAUL DUFAULT. A CrOLDEN-Tll KOATED TENOR. I'aul Dufault, the brilliant Canadian tenor, will give a return concert at the 'llV'atre Royal on Thursday, March 12. Mr Dufault has been delighting large audiences over since the opening of his starring tour by the magic of his marvellous voice, and his return visit to New Plymouth is sure to be heartily welcomed. Mr Dufault Jias a voice of great brilliancy, beauty of vocal tone, and dramatic power. He is about the most temperamental tenor that has so far visited the Dominion, and anyone who has not yet heard him should not fft.il to take advantage of the opportunity afforded them during the coming concert. Apropos of Mr Dufault's recent season in Adelaide, the Registrar of that city pays the famous tenor the following tribute:—"Some singers please certain of the people some of he time; others please some of the people all the time. Some please all the neo,>le some of the time. Paul Dufault pleases all the people all the time." During the concert here Mr Dufault "/ill be assisted by Miss Pauline Bindley, soprano; Era est. Toy, violinist, <-nd Harold Whittle, pianist. The plan for the Paul Dufault concert will open at Collier's next Monday morning.

EMPIRE PICTURES. MARION LEONARD TO-NIGHT. A big star attraction in the form of a Monopol feature film, entitled ''Peopie who Live in Glass Houses," will be the drawing power at the Empire this evening. Miss Marion Leonard appears >n the principal role, which is quite sufficient recommendation of the excellence of the production. Miss Leonard is the highest-salaried artist in the movingpicture profession and only appears in the big feature fibns produced by the Monopol Film Company. NICK WINTER-MASTER SLEUTII. LAST NIGHT AT THE ROYAL. The adventures of that master sleuth "Nick Winter" will occupy the screen at the Theatre Royal for the last occasion this evening. The picture is one of the most genuinely interesting and exciting films yet screened in the Dominion and it is well calculated to please all sections of a picture audience. Patrons who miss this programme will certainly regret so doing.
