Retiring allowances under section S,T (age length of service) totalling £3857 18» per annum were granted to twenty-nine contributors under section Mi (retirements as medically unlit). tfive contributors were granted allowances totalling £IG2 15s per annum; eight widows and fourteen children were granted statutory allowances amounting to ££>« per'annum. The aggregate nmouut of all allowances granted wius £434(1 13s per annum; average allowance under sections 35 :md 3ii being £llß 5s per *annum.
