N.Z. ASSOCIATION MKKTI.N'tI. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington. Thursday. The council of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association met last night, llr. A. Davies presiding. - It was decided to inform the Canterbury centre that Mr. M. K. liunfelt would he appointed delegate for that ventre if a local nomination is not -forthcoming ky next meeting'. The council endorsed the Auckland centre's suspension of -I. -I. Millvihill pending the settlement of a certain dispute. Auckland's application for permission to hold a return meeting for the American athletes on March 14 was granted, the Association to get one-third of the net profits. April 13 was granted as the date for the University championship meet"int? at Ohristehnrch. Permission was also granted for holding the South Island championships in connection with .the Southland championships on February 2,"). Reinstatement was granted to Edwin ■Silbv. Albert Norman and Arthur MaNeisli.
