FEILDING SHOW.
TIIK OPEXIXU DAY. By Telegraph—Press Association Feilding, Yesterday. It was a wet day for the opening <j( the Feilding show. There arc a very large number of entries, especially in the fat sheep and fat lamb classes. Purebred Komneys, Jerseys and dairy cattle are also well supported; Feilding, Last X'ight. On the first day of the Feilding Show the weather was somewhat showery. There were very large ontvies' of fat lambs and sheep, puie-lJred libmncys, .Jerseys and dairy cattle. The, following championships were awarded: Hereford bull and cow, E. Short; Ilolsteiri bull, W. I. Lovelock; cow, C. Hopping. Ayrshire bull, J. Mel'arland; cow, 1). Buchanan, Shorthorn bull, W. Gibson. Jersey bull, Tom McKenzie; cow, 0! 0. 0. Dermer. Romney ram, P. Mnngavin. Southddtvri ram,-J. Knight; ewe, Ellis Bros.'
Points prizes were awarded as follows: Flock sheep, W. Keid and Son (Feilding). Fat sheep. A. K. and A. Byrnes (Wayerlcy). Fat lambs, llighden Estate (Feildirig). Fat shee]p and lambs, Symes.
